Royal Enfield have made a fire on market with the introduction of 650 twins which will cause a heavy blow on every other premium and other brands. The pricing of the bike has made the ordinary people look into 650ccc bikes and dream of having a hearing the punching sound of the twin cylinder. We can say that the royal Enfield engineers have done a wonderful job by solving the usual problems that was seen in mostly every bikes of royal Enfield such as vibrations at lower ends, built quality, switches and body. The Instrument Cluster of the twins is slightly disappointing thing, because every other brands have made a footstep ahead on designing a Instrument Cluster ahead by giving extra information t the riders through the Instrument Cluster, like gear position indicator, temperature, etc. The main reason behind giving the usual royal Enfield Instrument Cluster which has only digital display to show the fuel level, Odometer and 2 trip meters (Trip A and Trip B), this is also a part of the price cutting. The wide braced handlebars, the Interceptor has a comfortable and commanding riding position, upright for great visibility ahead, aiding confidence as well as comfort. Gear Box


It is the first time Royal Enfield uses a six-speed gearbox, specifically developed for the 650 Twin, closely tested on proving grounds, race tracks and public roads, with carefully selected gear ratios chosen to deliver the best mingle for all riding conditions. The outcome is evident in the optimum shift feel, reliability of engagement, quiet notch-free selection and perfect ratio spacing. The gearbox is build up by a slipper clutch which has an assist feature for light lever feel.
